Panda Circle of Life Initiative

Sustainability is important to us, and we know it matters to you too – that’s why we use eco-friendly, chemical-free bamboo to make our award-winning home and sleep products. And we go one step further than that with our Circle of Life initiative.

How does it work?

Our ethos is to create luxury products that don’t cost the Earth, and we take this motto with us into every aspect of our business. We designed our selective range with longevity in mind, so as not to add to the landfill issue plaguing the homeware industry. With lengthy guarantees, sleep trials and superb quality, you can be rest assured your purchases will be part of your bedtime routine for years to come.

Most of our products are actually 100% recyclable. But for those hard-to-recycle memory foam and spring products, like our Hybrid Bamboo Mattresses or our Bamboo Mattress Topper, we set up our Circle of Life programme. This allows us to collect your products, once they reach the end of their life, and repurpose or recycle them responsibly.

How does the Circle of Life initiative work?

The best part is, the programme is completely free and easy! When you have enjoyed years of supportive and comfortable sleep with your Panda memory foam products, simply get in touch with us. We will come to you and collect the products free of charge, taking them away to be disposed of or repurposed in a way that ensures they don’t end up in landfill. This protects the future of our planet, working towards a circular economy and encouraging responsible consumption. And the best bit? When you use our Circle of Life programme, you’ll get 20% off your next purchase – so there are plenty more dreamy bedtimes in your future.

What is a circular economy?

A circular economy refers to a system by which materials are regenerated or reused so that production can continue in a sustainable manner – rather than ending up in landfill. Your Panda products will have a new life long after you’ve loved them, and by participating in this initiative you are actively helping to combat climate change, protect the environment, and reduce the amount of waste ending up in landfill.

What do we do with your products once they are collected?

Once we have collected your memory foam products free of charge, we take them away to be recycled – the foam is used in sofa fillings, playground matting, toys and more. Or if we think they still have more life left to give, they are cleaned up (at an industrial level!) and rejuvenated then donated to charity. You can rest assured that with Panda, we do everything we can to ensure your purchase protects the planet every step of the way.
