The environment is one of our main concerns (as well as making sure you get a good night’s sleep, of course) which is why we’re proud to introduce our brand new mattress recycling service. If you’re not ready to upgrade to a Panda Hybrid Bamboo Mattress, you can still benefit from this service. 

By adding this service to your basket and checking out, you can arrange for us to come and collect an old mattress – we’ll take it away and recycle it responsibly and professionally, meaning the materials can go on to be used for other products without ending up in landfill or causing any harm to the environment. The process is incredibly simple, and all you need to do is make sure you’re home when the courier arrives to take the mattress away.

The mattress is taken apart to be separated into different materials, which are then reused to make new products such as toys, gym mats and more – or, if they can’t be reused, they are disposed of both safely and responsibly ensuring no harm is done to the environment. Contaminated memory foam, for example, is directed to an energy recovery facility – here, energy is created from waste materials through heat produced during combustion.

We divert 100% of collected mattresses away from landfill, with up to 98% recyclability of these materials. We know getting rid of an old mattress can seem like a daunting task, so we’re happy to help you declutter your home and help our wonderful planet in the process!
