Memory Foam Bamboo Pillow Aftercare Instructions

Bamboo Cover instructions

  1. Your Panda Bamboo Pillow Cover is easy to remove with the discreet zip, so you can take it off and keep it clean.
  2. Wash either by hand, or machine wash at a low temperature (up to 40 degrees) with eco-friendly detergent – avoid bleach, but spot clean before washing if necessary.
  3. Dry on the line if you can, but if you need to tumble dry then do so at a low temperature.
  4. The pillow itself can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, or see below for instructions on how to deep clean memory foam.

Deep clean memory foam

There are many great benefits of using memory foam, from orthopaedic support to long-lasting comfort, though to keep it at its best we recommend cleaning your mattress from time to time. Our bamboo fabric is naturally hypoallergenic, though cleaning your Memory Foam Bamboo Pillow does help to eliminate any build-ups and maximise freshness. 

Cleaning memory foam is much easier than most people think. We recommend setting aside a day to deep clean your pillow so it can properly dry before bedtime! Mix some eco-friendly detergent with warm water, and use a cloth to wipe this mixture over the pillow; then, wipe again with a clean, damp cloth. Let it air dry completely to avoid attracting mould and mildew. 

Try not to get the pillow too wet, as this can cause permanent water damage which is not covered by our 10-Year Guarantee. Alternatively, you can sprinkle your pillow with baking soda, leave for a couple of hours, then vacuum gently. This will absorb any moisture and odours, resulting in a fresh pillow.
