Simple to care for, your Panda Hybrid Bamboo Pillow Cover is removable. With an all-around zip closure, you can take it off and keep it clean.
The cover is machine washable at a low temperature (the maximum temperature setting we recommend is 40 degrees). Spot clean before putting in the wash if necessary, and always use an eco-friendly detergent – avoid bleach.
Dry your cover on the line, but if you haven’t got that option we advise to tumble dry on a low setting.
The filling of the pillow should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth, alternatively, we’ve provided instructions below on how to give memory foam a deep clean.
Top tip: When your pillow cover is in the wash, make sure you keep spare covers, so you never have to do without your Hybrid pillow. Cover it with a bamboo pillow case to maximise on all the benefits of breathable bamboo. We have three bedding ranges (100% Bamboo Bedding, Bamboo and French Linen Bedding, and Signature+™ Bedding) which all complement our Hybrid Bamboo Pillow.
Deep clean memory foam
Memory foam hosts many advantages compared to other pillow fill types, from contouring to your sleeping position, to minimising motion transfer. To keep it performing at its best we recommend a deep clean every six months. Naturally antibacterial and hypoallergenic, our signature bamboo fabric keeps dirt at bay, however cleaning your Hybrid Bamboo Pillow will help to remove any build-ups and maintain hygiene.
Even though memory foam isn’t machine washable, it’s not that difficult to keep clean. We advise you dedicate a day to deep clean your pillow, this will ensure it's ready to use at bedtime! Mix a small amount of eco-friendly detergent with warm water, and apply this to the memory foam with a cloth; then, wipe again with a clean, damp cloth. Air dry to avoid it becoming damp and attracting mould or bacteria.
It's best to not get your Hybrid Bamboo Pillow too wet while cleaning, as this can cause permanent water damage and this is not covered by our 10-Year Guarantee. Another option is to sprinkle your pillow with baking soda, leave for a couple of hours, then vacuum gently. This will absorb excess moisture and odours, resulting in a clean pillow.
