Easy Aftercare Tips

This is how you roll…

  1. When your Hybrid Bamboo Mattress Topper arrives, prepare yourself – you’re about to experience a better night’s sleep. Firstly, unbox your Topper following the instructions on the packaging. Let it unroll it on top of your mattress. Teamwork makes the dream work, so it’s good to have an extra pair of hands to get it set up.
  2. You can lie back and enjoy your Hybrid Mattress Topper straight away if you want to, but as hard as it is to resist, we recommend letting the memory foam expand for up to 36 hours for optimum comfort.

Washing Your Hybrid Topper Cover

For that ‘fresh sheets’ feeling every night

  1. Your Hybrid Bamboo Mattress Topper is protected with our naturally antibacterial, hypoallergenic and thermoregulating cover. We’ve made it easy to remove and wash via the discreet zip on the side.
  2. You can pop the cover in the washing machine; we recommend a planet-friendly temperature of 30 degrees (maximum 40 degrees).
  3. Do wash with your whites – this will keep the cover that lovely fresh white, preventing any fading or stains from rogue socks…
  4. We recommend using gentle, eco-friendly detergents that are kind to the planet and kind to your skin, just like the Topper cover itself.
  5. The cover can be tumble dried or left to dry on the line naturally; we always prefer to keep things natural – like our super soft bamboo.
  6. Snuggle down and get comfy when you jump into bed, knowing you’re in for a refreshing, restorative night’s snooze.

How often should you wash your Hybrid Mattress Topper cover? 

While your Hybrid Mattress Topper cover is suitable for washing as many or little times as you like, we recommend once or twice a month to keep it in tip-top condition.

We all sleep differently; if you share a bed with pets or love breakfast and snacking in bed, you may find you want to wash your cover more often.

The good news is bamboo only gets softer with every wash, so whenever you pop it in for a spin you can look forward to it staying soft and snuggly for bedtime.

How to clean memory foam

Memory foam is one of the most popular choices when it comes to a good night’s sleep. Our latest 3rd generation memory foam provides advanced orthopaedic support blended with the soft, hypoallergenic, thermoregulating comfort of our signature bamboo cover.

Our BioCell Foam™ is one of our freshest innovations, combining open-cell foam with bamboo to increase airflow and prevent the natural heat retention of memory foam, making our Hybrid Topper breathable from the very first night.

Taking care of your memory foam is more simple that you might think, and remember it doesn’t need to be done too often. We recommend setting aside one day every three to six months – but don’t worry, most of that time is taken up by drying.

DO NOT deep soak your memory foam as this can cause permanent water damage, which is not covered by our 10-Year Guarantee.

Follow these steps every time your Hybrid Topper needs a clean to keep your memory foam performing at its best.

  1. Remove the cover. 
  2. Lay the foam flat on towels or waterproof sheets.
  3. Use a tool to remove any dirt or debris from the surface, like a lint roller or one with a fabric covering (do not use a spinning brush, as this could damage the foam).
  4. Sprinkle baking soda and leave to soak in for 8-12 hours.
  5. Gently vacuum the memory foam.
  6. For spot cleaning, mix a mild solution of half a litre of cool water plus a teaspoon of gentle liquid detergent, or 1:1 cool water and white vinegar for odours.
  7. Lightly dampen a clean cloth with the solution and blot the stain. Don’t pour cleaner directly onto the foam.
  8. Allow for 24-48 hours for it to dry completely in a well ventilated space.
