When your duvet arrives, it will be SO excited to meet its new snuggle partner. Here’s how to get it ready for bed…
Take the duvet out of its reusable bag, and keep that somewhere handy – you never know when you might want to use it.
Your duvet doesn’t need washing right away, so you can put it straight onto your bed, but you may want to leave it to air for a few hours before putting the bedding on. By the way, we highly recommended our Bamboo Bedding, which comes with handy straps that attach to the duvet to prevent any duvet drift!
Bedtime
Wrap your duvet in some cosy bedding, and get ready to snuggle in for a dreamy night’s rest.
Although your duvet can be slept in without bedding (it’s definitely soft enough), we do recommend keeping it dressed to protect it from moisture and any spillages.
Show the kids how it’s done and remember to make those beds every morning – there’s nothing better than diving into a freshly made bed, right?
We recommend washing your Cloud Bamboo Duvet on its own, on a cold wash of 30 degrees with some eco-friendly, mild detergent.
The duvet is best left to dry naturally – outside if the weather allows…
How often should you wash your Cloud Bamboo Duvet?
The great thing about the Cloud Bamboo Duvet is that due to the thermoregulating fabric, it can be used all year round – which may mean you wish to wash it more often than other duvets.
You can wash your duvet anything from once a year to every 3-4 months, depending on your preferences and how often you feel it needs a spruce up.
You can also opt for our Summer Cloud Bamboo Duvet during the warmer months if you like a slightly lighter duvet; this can also be doubled up with our Cloud Bamboo Duvet for extra snuggle in the colder months
